# AT Protocol services

Use the installed protopack plugin's service guides when available. If working from
a checkout, locate its `plugins/protopack/skills/` directory from the user's workspace
rather than assuming a home-directory path.

Read `microcosm-patterns/SKILL.md` for service composition or `jetstream/SKILL.md`
for live feeds and historical replay. Follow the relevant guide's links to its
owning SDK and service documentation. The upstream source is
https://tangled.org/zzstoatzz.io/protopack; that is a reference, not an account
to use for the user's records.

Check available tools before assuming any bundled MCP servers are connected.
Use maintained service SDKs where available; do not rebuild their clients merely
to avoid a dependency.
